Biker’s Plan Benefit for New Horizons

Press Release Date: August 16

The Alternative Motorcycle Club of the Treasure Coast is organizing their third annual benefit for New Horizons.  The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 8, 2pm-6pm at the Alternative MC Clubhouse, 6964 Heritage Drive in Port St. Lucie.

Members have planned an afternoon full of activities.  There will be traditional biker games, raffles, door prizes and vendors. Entertainment will feature live music by Crossbones, a local band and meals will be catered by Norris’s Fine Ribs.

The Open House and Benefit is open to all motorcycle enthusiasts and the cost is $10 per person.

Alternative MC is a clean and sober motorcycle club.  The Treasure Coast Chapter is part of a national organization that believes in giving back to the recovering community.  Proceeds from the event will be used to purchase recovery materials for patients at New Horizons.

“We appreciate the members organizing this benefit for New Horizons and purchasing all the recovery materials,” said Donna Molnar, Assistant Director of Nursing.  “The books, tapes and CD’s are used throughout the year and help our patients on their road to recovery.”
