Children's Behavioral Health Summit

“Family is the Solution” is the theme for New Horizons’ fourth Children’s Behavioral Health Summit. Dr. Daniel L. Edwards, Chief Operating Officer for Evidence Based Associates, will be the keynote speaker.
The summit will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009, at the Kight Center for Emerging Technologies, Indian River State College main campus, Virginia Avenue and 35th Street, Ft. Pierce. The registration fee for the event is $50. Attendees will receive five continuing education credits, a continental breakfast and lunch.
“We look forward to an excellent educational experience for all participants provided by the many presenters that we have recruited,” said JoAnne Knight, New Horizons director of human resources. “In addition to Dr. Edwards, we have speakers from The Jason Foundation, Department of Juvenile Justice, Florida Atlantic University, New Horizons, Florida Gang Investigators Association and local law enforcement agencies,” Knight said.
