New Horizons Receives $25,000 Grant from the Frances Langford Foundation

Release Date:  August 28, 2009

New Horizons is pleased to announce a $25,000 grant from the Frances Langford Foundation.  “This generous donation has been designated to the 4 Our Kids capital campaign for the new Center for Children at New Horizons” said John B. Romano, President and CEO.  Completion of the center is anticipated in the next 12-14 months.

The Frances Langford Foundation has generously supported numerous organizations throughout the years.  New Horizons is privileged to be a beneficiary of the generosity of the Foundation, and most grateful for its support of the desperately needed Children’s Crisis Center.

“This emergency center will provide a safe and caring place for boys and girls ages 6-17 who are experiencing a mental health or substance abuse crisis” added Romano.  “The Center will also be a place of hope and recovery…a haven where families can come together for counseling and assistance in dealing with their children’s emotional problems.
