New Horizons Receives Resolution from St. Lucie County Commissioners

Chair Paula Lewis and the St. Lucie County Commissioners presented a Resolution proclaiming the week of October 4 through October 10, 2009 as “Mental health Awareness Week” in St. Lucie County, Florida to New Horizons President & CEO John Romano at the Tuesday Commission meeting.  Also on hand to accept the Resolution was New Horizons Board Member and St. Lucie County Chief Deputy, Garry Wilson. 

 

The Resolution recognized the fact that mental health is essential to everyone’s overall health and well-being, and urged the citizens of St. Lucie County to become more aware of mental health issues.

 

 “New Horizons is very appreciative of the continued support extended by all of the St. Lucie County Commissioners,” stated New Horizons CEO, John Romano.  “The Commissioners address the needs of the mentally ill and in a most understanding manner.”
