New Horizons Plans Candlelight Vigil

New Horizons is planning a Candlelight Vigil in honor of National Mental Illness Awareness Week. The community wide event is scheduled for Thursday, October 11 at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at Ixoria Learning Center, 404 Ixoria Avenue in Fort Pierce.
The students and staff of New Horizon’s Ixoria Learning Center invite the community to attend the Candlelight Vigil, which serves as a special remembrance for people whose lives have been touched by mental illness.
There will be a brief program and refreshments. Ann Posey, a program manager at New Horizons, is the featured speaker. For additional information about the event, contact Carol Tzimenatos at Ixoria Learning Center 772-468-3912.
