Press Release:  October 2008

Friends and family of New Horizons gathered at the Pelican Yacht Club on October 25 to celebrate the organization’s 50th Anniversary. “It was a golden evening for New Horizons,” said Pat Daum, Director of Development. “We used the theme Honoring our Past, Celebrating the Present and Creating our Future” and we were pleased that Vern Melvin, Circuit 19 Administrator of the Florida Department of Children and Families, served as our master of ceremonies.”
