New Horizons Selects New Officers

The New Horizons Board of Directors announced a new slate of officers for 2008.  Greg Pickett from Indian River County will serve as Chairman, Joanna Kay Norris of Okeechobee County, Vice-chair and Bob Zomok of Indian River County, secretary and treasurer.

The Board also welcomed new Board Members Pat Austin-Novak and Harry Pelton from Martin County.  Returning members of the Board include Beverly Whiteley from Indian River County; Laura Murray from Okeechobee; and  St. Lucie residents Dzidra Anderson, Havert Fenn, David Hall, Gilbert Kennedy, Garry Wilson and John Wolsiefer Sr.

The energetic group has a busy year planned.  They are updating the organization’s strategic plan and will be involved with the capital campaign for the Children’s Crisis Center.
