New Horizons provides a variety of treatment programs and services to support the men, women and children in our community who live with mental illness and substance abuse. New Horizons has made a commitment to provide quality care for our clients in our four county service area and to assist them on their road to recovery.
Adult Mental Health Services
Treatment programs for adults living with a mental illness. Programs include crisis intervention, outpatient counseling, case management, medication management, life skills training and more.
Adult Substance Abuse Services
Services for adults experiencing difficulties directly related to drug and alcohol use and dependency.
Adult and Family Services
Services for the entire family including individual, and group therapy, case management, parenting classes, and more.
Children / Adolescent Mental Health Services
Treatment programs for children and adolescents. Programs include crisis intervention, outpatient counseling, case management, medication management and more.
Children/Adolescent Substance Abuse Services
Services for children and adolescents experiencing difficulties directly related to drug and alcohol use and dependency. Also, prevention/diversion programs.
Adults Criminal Justice Services
Special programs for adults living with mental illness who are held in a correctional facility. Also, programs for adults with substance abuse problems who are being held in a correctional facility.
Juvenile Justice Services
Special program to help divert youth from the Juvenile Justice Program. Program is available for first time offenders.

Services are provided to individuals living in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie Counties. New Horizons provides services through a contract with the Florida Department of Children & Families, as well as a variety of local and state grants, private donations, third party payment and client fees. Client fees are assessed on a sliding scale based on income and family size. Accepted methods of payment include most insurance, Medicaid and Medicare.
