Emergency Services

The staff at New Horizons realizes that a mental health or substance abuse emergency can occur at any hour of the day.  Sometimes a crisis is caused by people making poor choices, other times situations are out of our control.  At New Horizons we are here to help you or your family member who is experiencing a crisis.

Our goal is to provide immediate intervention to people experiencing a psychiatric or substance abuse crisis. Early intervention in a time of need can prevent hospitalization and stabilize acute situations.

New Horizons provides the following Crisis Services:

• Crisis Stabilization Unit

• Detoxification Unit (DETOX)

• Emergency Screening Center

• Family Emergency Treatment Center (FETC)

• Mobile Crisis Response Team

• Short Term Residential Treatment
