Mobile Response Team

New Horizons MRT has specially trained mental health professionals who travel throughout the Treasure Coast to assess individuals in crisis, determine level of care needs, and implement therapeutic procedures to promote safety within community settings. An MRT Responder can help make recommendations and referrals to appropriate services. ​

Emergency Screening

​Our trained and experienced staff is ready day and night to assess children and adults who come to our main campus at 4500 W. Midway Road in Fort Pierce seeking services voluntarily.

Adult Stabilization Unit

We have a 30-bed unit that provides adults in crisis a safe place to get treatment and establish balance in their lives again. Admission to the unit is under the supervision of a physician.

Children's Stabilization Unit

​Children in crisis have unique needs. Our Children’s Crisis Unit gives children and families a safe place for inpatient treatment and the child-centered care required to regain balance in their lives. Admission to the unit is under the supervision of a physician.​​
